On October 21, an excited crowd of customers stood in line outside the T-Mobile store at 3rd and Market in San Francisco to be the first in the world to purchase at retail the highly anticipated T-Mobile G1. These people were the fortunate first to purchase the T-Mobile G1, in limited supply, the day before the official national launch. The luckiest of them all, Christopher of San Francisco (pictured above), waited for hours in line and walked away with the first T-Mobile G1 at 6:00pm.
